The Unknown Dimension

As soon as I opened the magical door I knew it was a mistake. Unfortunately, it was too late!

“Aaaa!” I woke up with a start. I ran to where I heard the screaming. My dad was yelling. There were termites all over the house. We had to call our other family members to see if we could spend a week at their house; however everyone was busy except for “Creepy” Uncle Stewart, That’s his actual name. The first name is Stewart, his middle name is “Creepy”, and his last name no one knows even though his a relative. I really wish we could have gone anywhere except to “Creepy” Uncle Stewart’s house. When I got in the car we didn’t play or talk like we normally do.

After we got there, I saw a house that looked haunted. The streets were bare without a single person. The sky was dark: and, in fact, the sun was even afraid to shine at “Creepy” Uncle Stewart’s house. When we opened the door I almost expected ghosts to fly out. But, I guess even ghosts are afraid of that place! Then, Uncle Stewart came and told us to come in. After that, my mom told me something that made me very mad, which was that she and dad were going to stay in a hotel and I was the only one staying at Uncle Stewart’s. Next, they ran into the car and rode away. So I was stuck in a haunted house with a creepy uncle! Now, I’m all alone; how could this day get worse?

I was afraid to even say “hello” to Uncle Stewart. I just walked into the house, went to the kitchen, grabbed some food, and went up to the room that I stayed in the last time I was here. The room was all dusty, but it had a bed and television so the room was an enjoyable place to spend the rest of the day. I turned on the television and sat on my bed to watch. Since the last time I came here, Uncle Stewart added Netflix; therefore, I could watch all my favorite shows! When I took a piece of popcorn. It tasted horrible! I think the popcorn was stale. I turned on the television anyway and decided to challenge myself and watch a scary movie. In the middle of the movie, I must have fallen asleep for a while. I then decided to turn off the television and go look through the house.

In the first few rooms, there was a bed and a wardrobe. Some of the other rooms were just empty with two windows. As I kept looking, I saw a door with a sign taped to it that said, “DO NOT ENTER!”I did not know if I should open the door, or if I should leave like I did not even see the room. My curiosity overwhelmed me, and I decided to open the door. When I opened the door, there was a very bright light and a spiral circle. The room looked like a big portal. The portal started sucking me in.

Once inside the portal, I found myself in a place that was beautiful. It looked like a lovely spring morning. All of a sudden, this girl walked up to me. I don’t even think the person was a human girl. She had a human head, a bear body, and goat legs. I imagined that she saw me staring at her; and, said the king of the Jungle cursed me for stealing. I was starting to back away when she said that she stole for the homeless. I did not trust her but, I acted as if I did. After that, she invited me to her house. I do not know why, but I said okay.

Before I knew it, I was at her house. It was dark and only had one lamp with a dim light. There were no pictures on the walls and only a bed and a sofa for furniture. Even if the house was bad, she was happy with it. She was actually very fun to talk to. I had lots of fun with her. I thought my parents would be at Uncle Stewart’s house to pick me up since I had been in the “Unknown Dimension” for a long time. I felt like I had been there for hours. After that, she said she wanted to show me something that she never showed anyone else. Then, she brought me to the backyard and showed me something that blew my mind. I thought the backyard would have roses or a garden or something. It definitely had something but, not something that I expected or wanted. I realized I was so wrong. It looked like a killer’s paradise. There was a huge pot that had green boiling stuff in it, a bunch of slimy goblins that had devil horns, and hazy with fog. I knew I shouldn’t have trusted her. I should have never listened and come to the backyard.

Then, she crept up behind me and tied my arms with a rope. Next, the goblins pushed me down and started tying my legs. All of a sudden, I hop onto my feet and started jumping away. I didn’t get far, but at least I tried! After that the goblins lifted me laying down and carried me up the ladder to the huge boiling pot. Right when they were at the top and I thought my life was over, the most extraordinary thing happened: I woke up!

It turns out that the whole thing was a dream, actually more of a nightmare. I was so happy that I woke up. I realized I should have never watched the horror movie. Unfortunately, going to my uncle’s house wasn’t a dream. When I went downstairs and saw my uncle, he looked even creepier in the morning. I looked at what we had to eat. Right, when I saw the food I wasn’t hungry anymore. When I was going back to my room, I noticed something I never noticed before. There was a door right next to my room that had a sign taped to it that said, “DO NOT ENTER”.
